Dynamic Museum Design Wins 2009 Fall Architects JURY Competition

A dynamic design for a modern art museum in Odessa, Ukraine, is the winner of the 2009 Fall ArchitectsJURY competition. Sivak Dmitriy, a student at the Odessa State Academy of Building and Architecture, designed the winning project in ArchiCAD. “Odessa is a big city with lots of galleries and classical art museums, but there is no museum of modern art. I wanted to give Odessa’s many artists a place to exhibit their work,” Dmitriy said, when asked about his diploma project.
