Autodesk University kicked off this morning, and I ate breakfast with roughly 9,000 people. That’s about 1,000 less people than last year, and the people sitting at my table each had a story about job cuts and fewer people able to travel to the show. They also made clear that they’re more focused than ever on education, particularly in the BIM space, as a means to gain market advantage. The U.S. Government’s support of BIM is providing huge motivation.
