The Wall Street Journal lists a number of those that have gained wealth in the Forbes 400 as a more interesting read on trends rather than the 19% decline in combined wealth of this group. As an indication that mapping applications have taken off, Jack Dangermond, founder and CEO of ESRI, makes the list with a net worth of $2 Billion.

In his self-effacing and non-consumerist way of life, I’m sure that this public knowledge of his wealth drives Jack a bit crazy. The lesson here in my mind is that wealth can follow if you have a singular and passionate dedication to a lifelong vision.
