It’s an interesting exercise, and sounds like a funny book. I linked to the World Database of Happiness a few weeks ago in one of our Top 5 Links of the Week. Turns out that this repository of happiness research in the Netherlands was the author’s first stop.

It’s interesting that happiness research is a growing field, and that the place that we live factors largely in our happiness. There certainly isn’t a formula for happiness though, with researchers admitting that their findings are often contradictory.
