PR -- Talented and contented employees of RMSI have again vaulted the company amongst the top employers in the enormous Indian IT industry. NASSCOM, the chamber of commerce and “voice” of the IT software and services industry in India, recently issued a survey ranking of the “Top 15 Exciting Emerging Companies to Work For.” RMSI is ranked 2nd in this nationwide survey, which showcased some of the best employer organizations.

This marks the fifth consecutive year that RMSI has enjoyed similar high ranking in employer surveys, including a 1st place finish in the Business World Great Places to Work Study  and a 2nd place finish in the IDC-DataQuest Best IT Employers Survey. The NASSCOM survey was unique in its parameters for ranking the participating companies.  Based in Noida, India, RMSI provides mission-critical geographic information systems (GIS), modeling and analytical services to customers worldwide.

In announcing the winners, NASSCOM noted that a common denominator among companies on the list is that each is continually looking to add best practices, which make them more attractive for employees, and often enhances productivity simultaneously.

Said Rajesh Kalra, Managing Director RMSI, “It is indeed heartening to see that our highly motivated workplace and employee practice standards are acknowledged and respected by the entire industry”.

About the Survey Process and Model - A four part tailor-made procedure was adopted for the EEC survey ensuring that both the Employees’ and the Employers’ perspectives were well reflected:

Online Employee Perception Survey- An on-line survey was designed to tap the employees’ perception of their respective organizations. The on-line survey captured the employees’ take on the Work Environment (WE), Career Development (CD), Job Satisfaction (JS), Reward & Recognition (R&R) and Fairness & Equity (F&E) as observed and practiced in their organization.

HR Diagnostic Study-A score for each participating company was generated, following an in-depth exercise of meeting their Human Resource personnel, understanding their HR systems and processes, validating their content, studying documentation, comprehending their vision and listening to their employees.

The Industry Panel Run-Through- The survey panel comprised of NASSCOM’s invitees and industry experts to ensure that no ambiguities were creeping into the system and that there was no experience or expertise bias.

Analysis- The collated data was then calculated and analyzed to arrive at the final list.
